I have been cutting and polishing sapphires here in central Queensland for nearly 30 years.  Spent 23 years in Rubyvale on the central Queensland gemfields, was also involved with sapphire heat treating and jewellery making. Now living and working in Rockhampton  Queensland. Still making a small amount of handcrafted jewellery and doing jewellery repairs.
